Our Commitment
“We’re not anti-alcohol, we’re pro-choice.”
We create space for a more human conversation around alcohol. We believe people deserve the freedom to reflect on their relationship with drinking without pressure, judgement or labels. Our work sits at the intersection of prevention, culture, and community ~ supporting early reflection and meaningful change before harm takes hold.
1. Pro-Choice, Always
We are not anti-alcohol ~ we are pro-choice. We don’t tell people what to do. Some reduce their drinking, some stop completely, and others become more intentional. All choices are valid. We support reflection, not rules.
2. Early Reflection & Prevention
We focus on the space before alcohol becomes a problem. Many people quietly question their drinking long before harm appears. We exist for that stage ~ where awareness, curiosity and small changes can make a big difference.
3. Human Before Clinical
Our approach combines lived experience ~ not judgement. We believe prevention is most effective when it feels relatable, honest and grounded in real life.
4.Culture Shapes Behaviour
Choosing not to drink shouldn’t feel unusual. We work to normalise alcohol non-use by challenging cultural assumptions and creating conversations that make sober curiosity feel safe and valid.
5. Community & Belonging
Change is easier when people don’t feel alone. Our community reduces isolation, shares experience and creates a sense of belonging for anyone questioning their relationship with alcohol.
6. Inspiration Over Fear
We focus on what we can gain rather than use scare tactics or shame. While harm-framed prevention plays an important role in public health, far less attention is given to gain-framed prevention that highlight the benefits of not drinking.
7. Independence & Integrity
We are independent by choice and industry-free by principle. Our work is shaped by public health thinking and lived experience ~ not commercial alcohol interests.
8. Listening to the Body
People often already notice how alcohol affects them ~ through sleep, mood, energy or hangxiety. We encourage paying attention to those signals and using them as honest feedback for reflection.
